The mission of Helping Paws is to further people’s independence and quality of life through the use of Assistance Dogs. Helping Paws is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 30 years of experience training and placing service dogs with individuals with disabilities or veterans/first responders with PTSD. Helping Paws service dogs promote self-sufficiency and empowerment while providing friendship, comfort, and companionship. Helping Paws is fully accredited by Assistance Dogs International.

Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs (PawPADs) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota that provides highly trained assistance dogs to persons with disabilities. We utilize the power of the human-canine bond as a therapeutic, educational, healing tool while training the dogs. We accomplish our mission through educational and vocational training programs which teach prison inmates, students, veterans, and others to train the assistance dogs for placement.
