Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute was formed in June 2013 through the merger of Courage Center and Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, part of Allina Health. Both organizations bring a strong history of service to people with disabilities as well as people with chronic medical conditions. Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community services. Our goal is to partner with you to help you achieve your highest level of independence, health and wellness. We do this by providing excellent services, innovative programs, ground-breaking research and barrier-shattering advocacy.

Drama Interaction, Inc. is a creative and performing arts program dedicated to fostering expression and empowerment in children and adults who are differently-abled (special needs), inner city youth and Seniors, including those with Dementia and Alzheimers.  Our 501 (C) (3) non profit non profit organization combines the unique talents and passions of performing artists, special education teachers and Certified Dementia Communication Specialists and Facilitators.  Drama Interaction believes we each can be a star on life’s stage if we focus on ability rather than disability.

Mind Body Solutions is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a mission to transform trauma, loss and disability into hope and potential by awakening the connection between mind and body. We’re best known for adapting yoga for persons living with disabilities. Through our Opening Yoga to Everyone program, we offer adaptive yoga instruction in the Twin Cities area and teacher training for yoga teachers from around the world. Simply Jane is an Open Paint Studio where “Everyone is a Fabulous Artist!” We are Simply Jane & ArtAble a 501c3 non profit where we use the Simply Jane product for teaching painting techniques. The studio is completely wheel chair accessible, including automatic doors, ramps, and adjustable tables that accommodate large, motorized wheelchairs. We offer drop-in painting, summer camps, release day camps, saturday classes and parties for all ages and abilities in a variety of artistic mediums. We also offer field trips and events for group homes, adults and children with disabilities. All classes are inclusive of all abilities. What sets Simply ArtAble apart from other art studios is that our staff is experience in working with people with all types of challenges, including physical disabilities, cognitive disorders, developmental disorders, and mental health struggles.

Upstream Arts uses the power of the creative arts to activate and amplify the voice and choice of individuals with disabilities. Upstream Arts was founded in 2006 by Julie and Matt Guidry, parents who witnessed first-hand the positive impact of the arts on their son, Caleb, who is non-verbal. Upstream Arts’s vision is to change mindsets about ability and disability and promote more connected and engaged communities
by increasing intentional opportunities for shared creative experiences.
