Written & Directed by Nancy Keystone

In a mythical 5th grade classroom, lessons give way to fantasy and rebellion in a rambunctious spectacle of music, text, movement, and image. This production deconstructs traditional thinking to inspire imagination about the Virgin Mary’s roles in systems of gender, power, and faith, opening the many possibilities for liberation.
Content Advisory: Please be advised the performance includes use of sudden loud sounds. Thematic elements include religious and medical trauma, self-harm, and sexual assault.
The performance runs about 90 minutes, without an intermission.
