The Minnesota Travel Guide for Persons with Disabilities was created to provide useful information to travelers with a wide range of disabilities to enjoy restaurants, lodging, amusement, and entertainment venues. Complete and accurate information will benefit travelers and their families and friends, by offering them detailed information pertinent to their individual needs. The guide will also assist businesses in the travel, entertainment, and service industries to meet the needs of their patrons with disabilities, ensuring their experiences will be positive.

The information compiled in this guide was provided by tourism businesses and organizations throughout Minnesota. Each listing represents the response to a lengthy questionnaire designed to obtain pertinent data on their facility. All data entries were verified by the participating businesses and organizations. The guide does not include all of the accessible locations in Minnesota; only those that have provided information to be included in the publication. It does provide a full range of businesses, from attractions to lodging to restaurants, across the state. The website at accessminnesota.org is being continually updated as additional information is provided.
