Great video from the National Council on Independent Living’s March on Washington.

It happened on July 21, 2026 to celebrate this year’s anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. But this video, put together by our Wisconsin neighbors over at Independence First – The Resource for People with Disabilities in the Milwaukee area, is worth watching every day. Or whenever you need an energy boost.

The video follows the Independence First delegation during the NCIL March on Washington in Washington, D.C. Amber Hammond and Maddie Koetting speak about why they joined the march as footage shows disability advocates carrying signs, chanting, and traveling down Pennsylvania Avenue to the U.S. Capitol.
